Today Oct 18 is Frozen Food day in Japan. Oct comes from 10 or “tou” from 冷凍 “reitou” or frozen (a goroawase), and 18 comes from -18℃, the temperature at which the quality of frozen food can be maintained for one year. So they say! 🥶
